The Nature Group welcomes membership from all photographers with an interest in wildlife; whether you are an expert photographer, experienced naturalist or just beginning on the voyage of discovery into recording the many facets of nature, you will be very welcome.

We actively encourage members to participate in group activities; to both organise and attend field meetings in their region, to submit articles of interest in the group's magazine, The Iris, to work towards an RPS Distinction and to enter the Nature Group Annual Exhibition.

To join the Nature Group you must first be a member of The Royal Photographic Society - for details of how to join the society visit the website: www.rps.org/membership

When you join the RPS you are entitled to free membership of a special interest group for the first year. You must tell the membership department that you wish to be enrolled in the Nature Group.

If you are already an RPS member and would like to join the Nature Group, please contact the membership department at RPS HQ in Bath. The annual membership fee is just £12.

After you join the Nature Group the RPS Membership Department will notify the Nature Group Secretary and she will mail you a new members pack welcoming you to the group. You will also receive the group's magazine, The Iris, three times a year - Spring, Summer and Winter.

You cannot join the Nature Group via this site - you must contact the RPS.
